OUTRIDERS: Square Enix Reveals the Fourth and Final Character Type — the Technomancer
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
Square Enix has confirmed that the Trickster, Pyromancer, and Devastator won't be the only character types players will be able to choose from in Outriders — as its fourth (and final) class is called the Technomancer.
Unfortunately, that's everything we know about the looter shooter's last class right now — but the company has already announced that a Technomancer-focused livestream will take place on August 25 at 6PM CEST.
Considering that the Trickster is a rogue-like class perfect for those who prefer sneaking around and killing enemies from the shadows (or afar), the Pyromancer — a mage possessing fire-based and healing abilities, with the Devastator filling the standard tank role — chances are that the Technomancer will be some sort of scientist providing benefits to the team, including increasing their shield capacity and reducing reload times.
As a reminder, Outriders is a 3-player co-op shooter, so putting each character's unique powers and skills to good use will be crucial for staying alive on the hostile alien planet of Enoch (inspired by Heart of Darkness).
While we're patiently waiting for next week's Outriders broadcast, take a look at its new teaser down below:

OUTRIDERS is a 1-3 player co-op RPG shooter set in an original, dark and desperate sci-fi universe. As mankind bleeds out in the trenches of Enoch, you’ll create your own Outrider and embark on a journey across the hostile planet. With rich storytelling spanning a diverse world, you’ll leave behind the slums and shanty towns of the First City and traverse forests, mountains and desert in the pursuit of a mysterious signal. Combining intense gunplay with violent powers and an arsenal of increasingly twisted weaponry and gear-sets, Outriders offers countless hours of gameplay from one of the finest shooter developers in the industry – People Can Fly.
Outriders is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & PC (via Steam) Holiday 2020; will arrive on Google Stadia at a later date.
