Although we still know next to nothing about Bluepoint Games and Japan Studio's ambitious take on From Software's Demon's Souls, chances are that the next-gen remake will be one of PlayStation 5's launch titles.
Demon's Souls has been rated in South Korea, which basically means that the long-awaited remake of the father of all masocore games will arrive sooner rather than later — and with the PS4 successor potentially releasing in November to overshadow Xbox Series X, the project could very well be a launch title for PS5.
According to Kinda Funny's Imran Khan, COVID-19 has not ruined Sony's plans, and Demon's Souls should hit stores this holiday season, as the studios "had always been targeting [PS5's] launch/launch window."
For those unfamiliar with the remake of Demon's Souls, it's being developed by SIE Japan Studio (The Last Guardian, Knack II) and Bluepoint Games, the team responsible for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, Gravity Rush Remastered, and the critically acclaimed remake of 2006's cult-classic Shadow of the Colossus.
It's worth remembering that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will also launch alongside the console.
I’d doubt it if only for COVID reasons but I don’t think it’s off the table. As far as I know, they had always been targeting launch/launch window.

From Japan Studio and Bluepoint Games comes a remake of the PlayStation classic, Demon’s Souls. In addition to beautiful shadow effects and ray tracing, players can choose between two graphics modes while playing: one focused on fidelity, and one focused on frame rate.
Demon's Souls is coming to PlayStation 5.
