Two Worlds Collide on Surprisingly Colourful CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS: COLD WAR Cover Art

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare cover art may have been aggressively boring and visually unpleasant, but the official box art for Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War is a totally different — and more colourful — story.
Those who just can't wait to learn more about Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War should be happy to hear that Activision will showcase the upcoming title and discuss its core features as soon as next week, on August 26.
As a reminder, Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War was officially announced yesterday with an all-new trailer focused on the well-known speech given by former KGB agent Yuri Bezmenov at the height of Cold War.
It's worth remembering that Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War is being created by two studios: Treyarch (Call of Duty: Black Ops III) and Raven Software (Soldier of Fortune), as Sledgehammer Games — the team behind Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Call of Duty: WWII — has reportedly been asked to abandon the project.
While we're patiently waiting for more details on this year's entry in the long-running Call of Duty series — which seems to be a cross-gen project — take a closer look at the game's impressive box art down below:
