The Bearded Ladies has some sweet news for all fans of 2018's Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden — which was based on a pen and paper role-playing game titled Mutant — as Hasraf 'HaZ' Dulull is adapting it into a film.
Although The Beyond helmer's next project is produced by Pathfinder and HaZ Films, fans should keep their expectations in check, as it won't be a big-budget movie. According to the artist, his Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is built using the Unreal Engine, so comparing it to Pixar's latest flicks doesn't seem like a great idea.
"I am excited to say there is going to be some pretty insane, edge of the seat, wall to wall action like you have never seen before, driven by emotionally charged and extremely witty characters throughout, whilst having a strong story that is full of twists and mystery," the director said. "We are going to laugh out loud with the banter and quips between our characters and be emotional moved with the heart felt moments and then gripped with tension and thrown into a rollercoaster of action."
As a reminder, The Bearded Ladies' most recent game — Corruption 2029 — arrived on PC in February, allowing players to command a small squad of mercenaries and fight the source to the titular corruption.
