To make the long wait for WWE 2K Battlegrounds a little less painful, the American publisher has released an action-packed trailer — officially titled Clash of the Eras — starring the one and only Jerry "The King" Lawler.
Fans of Mauro Ranallo should be happy to hear that he will also be an in-game commentator. "We know WWE fans and gamers enjoy a wide variety of experiences, and with WWE 2K Battlegrounds, we’re presenting a whole new dimension through arcade-style gameplay that’s completely different than our WWE 2K simulation franchise," VP President of Marketing Chris Snyder said via a press release. "We look forward to seeing everyone tear it up with friends and family in the Battlegrounds," he added.
For those completely unfamiliar with WWE 2K Battlegrounds, the action-packed game is being developed by Saber Interactive, the award-winning team responsible for the World War Z game and Crysis Remastered.
With WWE 2K Battlegrounds finally arriving on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and PC next month, the publisher will definitely share even more details on the project sooner rather than later.
