After years of waiting, King Art Games' unique real-time strategy game Iron Harvest is finally releasing for
PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store) today, on the 1st of September.
To celebrate the long-awaited game's debut, publisher Deep Silver has released an intense launch trailer, putting the spotlight on its 3 playable factions — the Polania Republic, Rusviet, and the Saxony Empire.
That's not all, as the German company has also shared a special video that allows players who have no idea what Iron Harvest — inspired by the beautiful "1920+" universe created by Jakub Różalski — is all about learn a little bit more about its core gameplay mechanics and the strengths and weaknesses of each nation.
Considering that the The Book of Unwritten Tales developer's biggest project to date is currently sitting at a pretty great 76% score on Metacritic, fans of old-school RTS games should definitely give it a fair chance — and it's not like this year is filled with never-before-seen Company of Heroes–like titles worth your attention.

UPDATE: For unknown reasons, the game's Epic Games Store version has been delayed indefinitely at the last minute. "The year 2020 has been a challenge for all teams working on Iron Harvest," the publisher announced via Twitter. "Due to the unique situation the game is not yet ready to launch on the Epic Games Store. A full refund for pre-orders on EGS will be granted. We apologise for the situation."
Deep Silver has also revealed that the game's PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions will launch in early 2021.
At the dawn of the 20th century, shortly after the end of the Great War, the world is full of secrets and mysteries, of opportunities and challenges. Tradition clashes with scientific and technological progress, while Europe is still recovering from the brutal battles of the World War. Iron Harvest is a real-time strategy game (RTS) set in the alternate reality of 1920+, just after the end of the Great War.
Iron Harvest is currently available on PC (via Steam and GOG); coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the EGS at a later date.
