During a recent GeForce RTX 30 Series presentation, CD Projekt Red had a chance to put the spotlight on some of Cyberpunk 2077's next-gen graphical features such as ray-traced effects and diffuse illumination.
"Cyberpunk 2077 is a technologically advanced game capable of generating marvelous visuals. It also boldly spearheads the future of real-time graphics by taking advantage of GeForce RTX 30 Series’ 2nd generation ray tracing and the advanced AI of NVIDIA DLSS,"Art Director of Lighting and FX Jakub Knapik told Nvidia. "Simulated reflections, lifelike shadows [...] and ambient occlusion -- they all make my heart beat faster and I hope everyone will share that feeling when the game's out in November."
Fans of CD Projekt's output should be happy to hear that the Warsaw-based studio has officially confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 won't face another major delay and is on course to hit stores on November 19, 2020.
That's not all, as the Polish developer has also shared the first track from the game's soundtrack — Hole In The Sun by Point Break Candy, an in-game band portrayed by Raney Shockne feat. COS and CONWAY AKA.
Check out the aforementioned trailer, brand-new screenshots, and the Hole In The Sun song down below:
Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you. Become a cyberpunk, an urban mercenary equipped with cybernetic enhancements and build your legend on the streets of Night City.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam, GOG, and the EGS) on November 19, 2020; coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X this holiday season; will arrive on Google Stadia by the end of 2020.
