After years of waiting, Ubisoft has finally confirmed that 2010's 2D fighting game Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game is coming back to digital storefronts as Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition.
According to Ubisoft, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and PC (only via Uplay and the Epic Games Store) this holiday season, including the original game and its big expansion, which introduces Knives Chau and Wallace Wells.
For those unfamiliar with the drama surrounding Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, it launched a decade ago and instantly became a fan-favourite. Unfortunately, the title was delisted from both Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network in 2014, making it virtually impossible to legally purchase a copy of the beat'em up.
Quite surprisingly, the upcoming re-release of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game will mark the first time PC players will get to experience the old-school glory of beloved title based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's works.
