LIBERATED Team's Next Big Thing Is Titled 4 MINUTES TO THE APOCALYPSE; Launches in 2021

Atomic Wolf is one busy developer and publisher, as the award-winning makers of the recently released noir adventure Liberated have already revealed their next big project, officially titled 4 Minutes to the Apocalypse.
In the game — which takes place both after and before the titular cataclysm — you will try to piece together every bit of information hidden in a submarine and solve the pulse-pounding mystery behind the nuclear attack that ruined the world. To learn more about the title's plot and characters, check out its first synopsis:
"The vast majority of weapons that belong to the arsenal of "The Last Day Weapons" were not used for some unknown reason. Created to deter and not to be used, powerful enough to end life on our planet. After the war, which caused command centers to be destroyed and governments to cease to exist, this weapon remained without any control. One of the most dangerous units of this arsenal is the Arizona-12 secret submarine. Who will take control over it and what will it be used for?"
4 Minutes to the Apocalypse will arrive on PC (via Steam) at some point next year. Unfortunately for console players, there's still no word on whether the project will release for XBO, PS4, and their next-gen successors.
It's worth remembering that 4 Minutes to the Apocalypse is not the only post-apocalyptic game currently in the works at a Warsaw-based studio, as PolyAmorous' Paradise Lost will also launch in the coming months.
Without further ado, take a closer look at this intense announcement trailer for 4 Minutes to the Apocalypse:
