Stanislaw Lem's Sci-Fi Novel THE INVINCIBLE Comes to Life in Next-Gen Game from Starward Industries

Polish game developer and publisher Starward Industries has some great news for all fans of Stanisław Lem's retro-futuristic novel The Invincible, as the studio's original take on said work of fiction will release next year.
What's even more interesting, Starward Industries' debut project is a full-blown next-gen game — powered by Epic's Unreal Engine 5 — that will simultaneously arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (via Steam).
At its core, The Invincible is a first-person adventure that takes place on a hostile planet. Lost and confused, its protagonist will have to embark on an action-packed journey to find the missing crew of his spaceship if he's even hoping to come back home. Unfortunately, Regis III is a rather unforgiving planet — and with each new discovery about the fate of your brave crew, you will also learn that some secrets are better left untold.
Although The Invincible is Starward Industries' top priority for the time being, the young developer — made up of artists who previously worked on Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher III: Wild Hint, Dying Light, and Dead Island — would love to create a shared universe influenced by the renowned Solaris and Eden author's wild imagination. "Their stories have to be told separately," Director Marek Markuszewski told The Gamer. "Who knows what kind of reaction we’re going to trigger with The Invincible? I can totally imagine building a larger universe to set more stories in, but it’s too [much of a] long shot to discuss it now."
To make the wait for The Invincible a little less painful, the Cracow-based team at Starward Industries has released the very first track from the upcoming video game's soundtrack — composed by Brunon Lubas (Bloober Team's Blair Witch, Ritual: Crown of Horns) — and a bunch of never-before-seen screenshots:
