Sony has finally shared some brand-new details about Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, as Insomniac Games' next big thing will officially arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in November; priced at $49.99.
That's right, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a PS5 launch title, releasing for PS5 on November 12 — in the U.S., Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea — and November 19 in the rest of the world. Those who are not planning to purchase a PS5 anytime soon will still be able to play the game on their PS4, as Insomniac knows that some fans of the original may want to transition to PS5 at a later date.
What's even better, the Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart studio has also announced Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, which will be available on the PlayStation Store for $69.99 on launch day. The next-gen bundle will include both Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered.
According to Insomniac, the newly revealed remaster of Marvel’s Spider-Man will allow you to experience an enhanced version of the huge title and its Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps DLC on your PS5.
Furthermore, Sony has confirmed that the brilliant Tinkerer will be the cross-gen adventure's main villain. In Marvel’s Spider-Man, she's the leader of the Underground, a high-tech criminal army that will stop at nothing to destroy Roxxon, a devious energy corporation linked to Wilson Grant Fisk/The Kingpin himself.
