OBSERVER: SYSTEM REDUX Is Coming to Xbox Series and PC on Nov. 10 and PlayStation 5 on Nov. 12
Cracow-based game developer and publisher Bloober Team (Layers of Fear, The Medium) has confirmed that the enhanced version of 2017's sleeper hit Observer is a launch title for both Xbox Series and PlayStation 5.
According to the Polish company, their next big thing will arrive on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store) on November 10, with its PlayStation 5 port releasing on November 12.
Priced at $29.99, the next-gen version of the critically acclaimed techno-thriller will support 4K at 60FPS, featuring hi-res textures, reworked animations and models, enhanced lighting, and all-new particle effects.
For those unfamiliar with Bloober's most successful title to date, it tells the story of Dan Lazarski — brilliantly portrayed by the late Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner, Sin City) — a cybernetically enhanced detective who tries to solve bone-chilling murder mysteries by plugging into the neural implants of both criminals and victims.
It's worth remembering that Observer: System Redux is not the only next-gen production Bloober Team is currently working on, as The Medium will also be available on Xbox Series and PC at some point this year.
One of the scariest cyberpunk stories has been rebuilt and augmented for the next generation. Veteran Observers can dive deeper into this dystopian reality thanks to expanded gameplay and brand-new story content, while newcomers will get the chance to experience this cyberpunk thriller in all its chilling next-gen glory.
Observer: System Redux is coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC (via Steam and the EGS) on November 10; wlil arrive on PS4 on Nov. 12.
