SCARLET NEXUS: Bandai Releases Theme Song and New Trailer Focused on 2nd Playable Character, Kasane

Bandai Namco has released an all-new trailer for Scarlet Nexus — which is being developed by the creative minds behind Code Vein — featuring the title's theme song "Dream in Drive" created by The Oral Cigarettes.

That's not all, as the Parasite Eve spiritual successor has also received a fresh video that debuted at Tokyo Game Show 2020. It shines a light on Nexus' main cast and villainous interdimensional monsters, the Others.

In Scarlet Nexus, players will have a chance to choose between at least five different characters — including the game's main protagonist, Yuito Sumeragi — before the beginning of a new mission. Kasane Randall will be one of the playable heroes in Scarlet Nexus, and Bandai has shared some fresh details about the warrior.

According to the Japanese game developer, Kasane is a "mysterious girl who Yuito stumble upon while fighting against the Others. She reminds Yuito of the OSF member that saved his life as a child. She seems to be an ordinary OSF member." The character's voiced by Asami Seto (Overlord, Katana Maidens).

If you would like to learn a little bit more about Kasane, check out these two new trailers for Scarlet Nexus:

In a far distant future, a psionic hormone was discovered in the human brain, granting people extra-sensory powersand changing the world as we know it. Just as humanity was entering this new era, deranged mutants known as Others began to descend from the sky with a thirst for human brains.

Scarlet Nexus is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC.
