NIER REPLICANT Will Make Its Debut on April 23; NIER RE[IN]CARNATION Is Coming to the West
Publisher Square Enix has some truly fantastic news for all fans of the long-running NieR game series, as the company has shared some fresh details about the long-awaited NieR Replicant and NieR Re[in]carnation.
During this year's Tokyo Game Show, the Japanese studio officially confirmed that the remake of 2010's NieR — titled NieR Replicant Ver.1.22474487139 — will arrive on PS4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam) on April 23.
For those unfamiliar with NieR Replicant Ver.1.22474487139, it follows the story of a young villager who embarks on a dangerous journey to save the life of his terminally ill sister Yonah. The remake is directed by Yoko Taro (NieR), scored by Keiichi Okabe (NieR: Automata), and produced by Yosuke Saito (Babylon's Fall).
That's not all, as Square Enix also announced that NieR Re[in]carnation — the very first mobile entry in the award-winning series that is coming exclusively to iOS and Android devices — will be available in the West.
