Although InXile Entertainment's Wasteland 3 made its debut just a month ago, Studio Head Brian Fargo has announced that the Newport Beach–based studio is already working on two brand-new role-playing games.
That's right, the award-winning makers of Torment: Tides of Numenera and The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep are hard at work on two all-new titles. Unfortunately, it sounds like it will be a while before we learn more about InXile's next big things, as the director recently revealed on Twitter that they "take so long to make."
Chances are that their second upcoming title is a next-gen game, as it's "in the infancy of pre-production."
Considering that the aforementioned follow-up to 2014's Wasteland 2 is one of the most accomplished turn-based strategy games of the year — currently sitting at a fantastic 86% score on Metacritic — it's safe to say that InXile's next projects will put the horsepower of the Xbox Series and high-end PCs to good use.
As a friendly reminder, InXile Entertainment is a member of the ever-expanding Xbox Game Studios family.
We are working on wonderful new RPG’s, it’s too bad they take so long to make. https://t.co/v53ZU5MIx1

I should probably clarify that our second RPG is in the infancy of pre production.
