Elite Dangerous: Odyssey is shaping up to be the most important DLC in the history of the acclaimed MMO from Frontier Developments, allowing fans to explore breathtaking worlds on foot for the very first time.
The upcoming DLC will introduce a plethora of brand-new features and major quality-of-life improvements, including "a new approach to missions, station interiors," and even some never-before-seen spacesuits.
Although the game tries to take a page out of Star Trek's book — as long as we're not talking about Picard and Discovery — presenting a vision of the future where almost everyone actually tries to get along, the new "boots-on-the-ground" mechanics will also give you the chance to steal things from hard-working settlers.
There's no denying that Frontier Developments is one busy game developer, as the award-winning team behind Jurassic World Evolution is simultaneously working on two major productions: Elite Dangerous: Odyssey — which will hit stores in early 2021 — and the long-awaited Warhammer: Age of Sigmar RTS.
