The team at Nintendo has revealed that Steve and Alex from Mojang's hugely popular Minecraft game series will join the ever-expanding roster of playable characters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in the coming weeks.
That's right, the duo will be playable in the Nintendo Switch–exclusive Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, joining countless other beloved characters such as Link, Samus, Pikachu, Sonic, Pac-Man, Bayonetta, Fox, and Ryu.
Just like all the previously released DLC characters — namely Piranha Plant, Persona's Joker, Terry, Banjo and Kazooie, Byleth, Dragon Quest's Hero, and Min Min — Steve and Alex won't be available for free, and you will need to pay $5.99 to be able to duke it out as the heroes from Minecraft in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Those who would like to learn more about the core features and skills of Steve and Alex in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate should be happy to hear that new details about the duo will be shared on October 3 at 7:30AM PT.
