People Can Fly's Looter Shooter OUTRIDERS Will Seemingly Hit Stores on February 2, 2021

It looks like Steam has accidentally revealed Outriders' release date, as a new listing posted on Valve's digital service suggests that Square Enix will publish People Can Fly's original looter shooter on February 2, 2021.

As a reminder, the Japanese company hasn't revealed any concrete details on the upcoming TPS' launch date yet, so you may want to take the aforementioned information with a pinch of salt for the time being.

There's no denying that the last quarter of the year is pretty crowded — as guaranteed hits like Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Gods & Monsters, Demon's Souls, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, DiRT 5, and Watch Dogs: Legion will all hit stores by the end of the year — delaying its release until 2021 would definitely make sense from a business standpoint.

It's worth remembering that Outriders is a cross-gen production that will be available for both current- and next-gen platforms, namely PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, Google Stadia and PC.

Considering that People Can Fly's first major game since 2013's Gears of War: Judgment is supposed to make its debut this holiday season, the studio will probably reveal its official release date sooner rather than later.
