HYRULE WARRIORS: AGE OF CALAMITY Shines in Over 20 Minutes Never-Before-Seen Gameplay Footage

Nintendo has shared nearly 20 minutes of brand-new Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity gameplay footage, giving us the chance to take a closer look at the truly gratify-defying combat abilities of Zelda and Urbosa.

That's not all, as the Japanese company has also released a special trailer for the recently revealed game, shining a new light solely on the aforementioned bodyguard and best friend of Zelda. During their great journey, fans will also be able to play as other beloved warriors, including Link, Daruk, Mipha, and Revali.

For those unfamiliar with Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, it takes place more than 100 years before Link and Zelda's most recent — and also award-winning — adventure, allowing players to learn a little bit more about the monster-infested Kingdom of Hyrule before the events of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is being made by Koei Tecmo Games, the renowned team behind Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV and Dynasty Warriors 9. Their next production is coming only to Nintendo Switch.

Fortunately, you won't have to wait to play Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity too long, as the 3D fighting game will make its Nintendo Switch debut on November 20. While we're patiently waiting for more details about the all-new prequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, check out these action-packed videos:
