To make the wait for Assassin's Creed Valhalla a little less painful, Ubisoft has shared a bunch of new videos and images, including a truly beautiful piece of art created by Polish artist Grzegorz Domaradzki (vel Gabz).
In Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the protagonist of your choice is the leader of the Raven Clan, a group of brave souls who embark on a dangerous mission to find a new home for their people. To do just that, Eivor's small company will establish Ravensthorpe, the very first Viking settlement at the southern edge of Leicestershire.
According to the studio, it will be "Eivor’s headquarters, a place to rest, plan, and enthusiastically pet stray dogs. By gathering materials and new residents, you will be able to grow it from a collection of huts into a thriving village, and add facilities like farms, a tattoo parlor, a cartographer’s shop (for finding treasures), a workshop to repair the Roman relics you find in the world, and even a Hidden Ones bureau. You will also be able to designate a Jomsviking here – a lieutenant who can be sent out as a mercenary to assist other players – and recruit other players’ Jomsvikings to your own crew."
Ubisoft is also trying hard to make the upcoming title the most accessible Assassin's Creed video game ever made, introducing a plethora of options and additional features that should allow everyone to enjoy Eivor's huge adventure in an equal way. For example, you will be able to adjust the length of interaction holds from 100-1,000 milliseconds and choose between one-time press, hold, or repeated presses for quick time events.
Interestingly enough, your personal "quest for peace" will take you far beyond our realm, as players will also be able to freely explore Asgard (the vast world of Norse gods) and Jotunheim (the homeland of the giants).
