WATCH DOGS LEGION: Permadeath Is No Joke in Hilarious Overview Trailer for Ubisoft's Latest

Considering that Watch Dogs Legion is almost here, it shouldn't be surprising that Ubisoft is releasing new trailers for the threequel left and right, this time focusing on the techno-thriller's most innovative feature.

In Watch Dogs Legion, every NPC is actually an APC — which stands for "all playable character." You read that right, the long-awaited game — which is being directed by Clint Hocking (Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, Far Cry 2) — allows you to take on the role of every virtual inhabitant of a post-Brexit, dystopian London.

Although the production will give you the chance to gather your own party of unique characters (including grannies, taxi drivers, blue collar workers, and obviously hackers), you should treat their lives very carefully, as the adventure will feature permadeath — which means that once they get killed, they are gone forever.

Thankfully, those who prefer their games rather stress-free, they will be able to toggle it on and off at will.

It's worth remembering that Ubisoft Toronto's Watch Dogs Legion will be a launch title for both Xbox Series S/X (launching November 10) and PlayStation 5 (releasing on November 12). Before its next-gen debut, the game will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC (via Uplay and the EGS) on October 29.

Without further ado, take a look at the aforementioned "101" trailer for Watch Dogs Legion down below:
