An action-packed launch trailer for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart of the Forest has been released online, as the unique visual novel set in the beloved World of Darkness is now available on PC (via Steam and GOG).
Developed by Warsaw-based Different Tales (Wanderlust: Transsiberian), the newly released game follows the story of Maia, a brave woman who decides to come to Poland hoping to trace her tangled family roots. Unfortunately for the main protagonist, it turns out that the ancient Białowieża Forest hides a dark secret.
Considering that Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart of the Forest is currently sitting at a really good 77% score on Metacritic — and its user reviews on Steam are also "very positive" — fans of visual novels like Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York and The Letter should definitely give it a fair chance.
Unfortunately for console players, Polish publisher Walkabout has not revealed any concrete plans to bring Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart of the Forest to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One just yet.
