Nintendo Switch Version of Microids' XIII REMAKE Won't Be Hitting Stores Anytime Soon
French publisher Microids has bad news for Nintendo Switch owners who just can't wait to (re)visit the world of Jean Van Hamme's ground-breaking graphic novel, as the Switch edition of XIII has been pushed back.
The remake of the classic first-person shooter will now be arriving on Nintendo Switch sometime in 2021.
Although the Nintendo Switch version of the long-awaited remake has unfortunately been delayed, the new take on XIII is still coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam and GOG) on the 10th of November.
Developed by PlayMagic — a relatively young studio based in Sliema and Kiev — XIII is a faithful recreation of the award-winning shooter from 2003. Unlike the original, the remake won't have any multiplayer modes.
The publisher has also shared some new details about the game's Limited Edition. According to Microids, it includes the title, a two-sided metal case, 3 art cards, and 13 golden weapon skins. Check it out down below:
