It Seems That Sucker Punch Is Already Working on a Sequel to GHOST OF TSUSHIMA

Ghost of Tsushima launched only 3 months ago, but it seems that the award-winning development team at Sucker Punch is already working on a follow-up to their original take on Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed franchise.

According to a new job listing posted on the official website of Sucker Punch, the makers of inFAMOUS: First Light are hard at work on an all-new "AAA open-world game" that is shaping up to be Ghost of Tsushima 2.

Considering that the beloved Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves studio is looking for a narrative writer who has to have a real desire to "write stories set in feudal Japan" with "knowledge of feudal Japanese history," it's safe to say that the Bellevue-based company is not planning to abandon its newly created IP anytime soon.

Those who have already finished the action-packed story of Jin Sakai but would still like to spend even more time in the game's world may want to give Ghost of Tsushima: Legends a fair shot. This completely free co-op mode is now available as a free download to all players, giving them a unique chance to face off against terrifying creatures and characters inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythology with up to 3 friends online.

Sucker Punch's opus magnum has shipped well over 2.4 million copies since its debut on July 17, dethroning Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man to officially become the fastest-selling PS4–exclusive title in Japan.
