Milla Jovovich's Artemis Faces One Furious Dragon On a Smashing New Chinese Poster for MONSTER HUNTER

Sony Pictures has unveiled two Chinese posters for the long-awaited Monster Hunter, an action-packed flick starring Milla Jovovich, Tony Jaa, Ron Perlman, Tip "TI" Harris, Meagan Good, Josh Helman and Jin Au-Yeung.

The posters put the spotlight on Captain Artemis' uneven battle against truly enormous monsters, including a huge dragon. According to Director Paul W. S. Anderson (Mortal Kombat, Alien vs. Predator), the beasts in his next production will look even better than the ones in Colin Trevorrow's record-breaking Jurassic World.

In Monster Hunter, Artemis will embark on a dangerous quest to put an end to an interdimensional threat that could destroy Earth. To beat the odds, she will have to find a way to survive in the alien world and learn how to master some ancient weapons — such as the iconic dual blades — she'll discover during her journey.

The COVID-19 pandemic is still wreaking havoc in North America and Europe, but it has not affected Sony's decision to bring Monster Hunter to theaters this December yet. Considering that the majority of the world's biggest film markets remain under lockdown, it's clear that the studio is hoping to make big bucks in China.

Be sure to take a look at these two never-before-seen posters for Sony's Monster Hunter movie down below:
