Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has shared an intense Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate launch trailer, as the latest edition of the award-winning fighting game is finally hitting store shelves around the world today.
That's right, the NetherRealm Studios–created Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and PC (via Steam). It's probably worth remembering that those who have purchased the base game can get a digital copy of its next-gen port for free (but purchasing Kombat Pack 2 — which costs $14.99 — is still necessary to join the fun as Rain, Mileena, and John Rambo).
Considering that Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate features a highly impressive roster of 37 playable characters — including The Joker, Johnny Cage, Terminator (T-800), Raiden, Sub-Zero, Spawn, Robocop, and Kitana — it definitely is the best way to start your Mortal Kombat 11 journey if you have not given the game a shot yet.
What's even better, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate fully supports cross-play, which basically means that both PC and console players can duke it out together like never before (no matter what platform they're playing on).
If you're still on the fence about whether it's worth purchasing Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate — which is currently priced at $59.99 — perhaps this action-packed release trailer will help you make the final decision:
