Capcom May Be Developing Long-Awaited Sequel to 2015's RESIDENT EVIL: REVELATIONS 2

Category: Rumours

Capcom was recently hit by a huge ransomware attack that has shone a light on the Japanese video game developer and publisher's future plans, possibly involving a new Resident Evil title, codenamed RE: Outbreak.
According to reliable insider Dusk Golem — who just can't stop leaking information about Capcom-created properties — the aforementioned Resident Evil: Outbreak video game is actually Resident Evil: Revelations 3.
Considering that Dusk Golem has "announced" many games in the past — including the mysterious Monster Hunter project for Nintendo Switch (which would be later revealed as Monster Hunter Rise) and Resident Evil 3's online component, Resident Evil Resistance — it's safe to say that he knows what he's talking about.
The Resident Evil: Revelations spin-off series consists of 2 big entries: the 2012 original and its 2015 sequel.
It's worth remembering that Resident Evil: Revelations 3 isn't the only long-awaited video game reportedly in the works at Capcom, as the major ransomware attack has revealed that the company is also developing the following projects: Dragon's Dogma 2, Street Fighter 6, Resident Evil 4 (Remake), and a new Onimusha sequel.
Although Dusk Golem is a reliable source of news, it's best to take his recent revelations with a grain of salt.
It's Revelations 3, not Outbreak 3. I won't say more than that for now though. https://t.co/Yl6peklnbX
