CHRONOS BEFORE THE ASHES: Prequel to REMNANT FROM THE ASHES Gets All-New Trailer

Chronos: Before the Ashes is almost here, and to make the painful wait for the RPG a little easier to bear, the team at THQ Nordic has released a fresh trailer for the long-awaited prequel to Remnant: From the Ashes.

For those unfamiliar with Before the Ashes, it's a brand-new version of 2016's Chronos, a VR-exclusive set in the same world as Remnant. Although Chronos: Before the Ashes will introduce some new game mechanics, there's no denying that the fact that it won't require a VR device to be played is its most important feature.

According to THQ Nordic, Chronos: Before the Ashes will be arriving on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC (only via Steam) on December 1. Gunfire's next big thing will be priced at $29.99.

At the very core, Chronos: Before the Ashes is a traditional role-playing title with some challenging gameplay mechanics inspired by Dark Souls and other masocore games. In the fast-approaching project, death is only a beginning of your journey, and every defeat will get you a little bit closer to escaping a deadly labyrinth.
