RAINBOW SIX SIEGE Arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series Next Week With 120FPS and 4K Support

A new era in the evolution of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is about to begin, as Ubisoft's record-breaking first-person shooter will be arriving on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X next week — on December 1, 2020.

That's right, the all-new version of Rainbow Six Siege will go live next Tuesday, kicking off alongside Year 5 Season 4 — officially titled Operation Neon Dawn — which will introduce a never-before-seen Operator from Thailand, a completely reworked map (Skyscraper), and a bunch of huge quality-of-life improvements.

If you already own a copy of Rainbow Six Siege on PS4 or Xbox One, you'll get a digital copy of its respective next-gen edition at no additional cost, allowing you to continue your own journey exactly where you left off.

Furthermore, R6: Siege will finally support cross-generation multiplayer between PS4 & PS5 and XBO & XS.

Once you download Rainbow Six Siege on your PS5 or XS, you will have to choose between 2 different ways of playing it: the Performance Mode (it targets 120FPS at a dynamic 4K) and Resolution Mode (60FPS at 4K).

Without further ado, take a closer look at this intense trailer for the next-gen version of Rainbow Six Siege:
