Next Major Entry in the CAR MECHANIC SIMULATOR Franchise Will Make Its Debut in 2021
During a recent Capital Market Week interview, PlayWay Founder and CEO Krzysztof Kostowski officially confirmed that Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 is real, and we should learn more about it the very near future.
The Warsaw-based studio will start revealing first details about Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 early next year.
According to Kostowski, Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 will definitely be the Polish video game developer and publisher's biggest hit of next year. Considering that the latest entry in the fan-favourite series — 2017's Car Mechanic Simulator 18 — has shipped nearly 500,000 copies since January 2020 (317,000 on PC, 103,800 on Xbox One, and 63,900 on PlayStation 4), it's safe to say that its new follow-up will also be a sales juggernaut.
The upcoming title won't be the only Car Mechanic Simulator video game PlayWay is planning to publish in 2021, as Car Mechanic Simulator VR will be arriving on Valve Index, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift next year as well. The VR edition of CMS 2018 will make its debut between the beginning of January and end of March.
It's probably worth remembering that PlayWay's Radio Commander VR will also be releasing in Q1 2021. At its core, it's a brutal experience based on Serious Sim's real-time strategy game set during the Vietnam War.
