DEAD SPACE Meets THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK in Intense THE CALLISTO PROTOCOL Trailer
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
Category: Horror Games
The once-great Dead Space franchise may have been ruthlessly killed by Electronic Arts for no good reason, but Glen Schofield is more than ready to bring its claustrophobic spirit back to life with The Callisto Protocol.
Produced by Krafton (PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds) and created by San Ramon–based Striking Distance Studios, The Callisto Protocol is a story-driven survival game set on Jupiter’s moon Callisto in the year 2320.
According to the South Korean publisher, the original next-gen experience "challenges players to escape the maximum security Black Iron Prison and uncover its terrifying secrets. A blend of horror, action, and immersive storytelling, the game aims to set a new bar for horror in interactive entertainment."
The newly announced horror title is officially coming to PC and unspecified consoles at some point in 2022.
While we're waiting for more details about The Callisto Protocol, take a closer look at the title's reveal trailer — its extended (and also red band) version will make its debut on December 17 at 10am PT — down below:
