Renowned Team Behind GONE HOME Announces New Atmospheric Adventure OPEN ROADS
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
Publisher Annapurna Interactive has officially announced yet another story-driven indie extravaganza — this time focusing solely on the dynamics between a 16-year-old teenager and her mother — titled Open Roads.
Open Roads is being created by Fullbright, the renowned makers of 2013's Gone Home and 2017's Tacoma.
Interestingly enough, the duo will be voiced by 2 well-known actresses: Keri Russell (Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) and Kaitlyn Dever (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Booksmart).
The newly announced production will be arriving on PlayStation 4 and PC (via Steam) at some point in 2021.
In Roads, Tess and Opal embark on "a road trip adventure to explore a series of long-abandoned family properties, unearthing the past. They will search the ruins of these places that hold buried memories, things Opal has tried for years to forget. And in this search, they will discover not just the truth they have been seeking, but each other." To learn more about their story, take a look at this brand-new trailer:
