Ubi Store Confirms PRINCE OF PERSIA - THE SANDS OF TIME REMAKE Will Get Switch Port

Although Ubisoft is still playing coy about the long-rumoured Nintendo Switch version of Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time Remake, said edition of the game actually exists — at least according to Ubisoft Store US.

That's right, Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time Remake is seemingly coming to the hybrid console, with "Switch" currently being listed as one of the 4 platforms the project will be available on sometime next year.

Interestingly enough, the Switch edition of Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time Remake briefly appeared on Ubisoft Store back in September — the same day the company officially confirmed the game is a real thing.

Furthermore, the very same online shop has basically revealed that a next-gen version of Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time Remake is in the works as well. What's even better, if you begin your journey on Xbox One or PlayStation 4, you will be able to continue playing the title on a corresponding next-gen console for free.

Although Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time Remake was supposed to hit the stores as soon as next month — on January 21, 2021 — the French publisher recently announced that the project had been pushed back to allow the crews at Ubisoft Mumbai and Ubisoft Pune to further polish their biggest production to date at their own pace. PoP will now be releasing for PS4, PS5, XBO, XS, PC & NS (at least presumably) on March 18.
