PS5-Exclusive TERMINATOR: RESISTANCE ENHANCED Will Introduce New Infiltrator Mode

As expected, UK-based publisher Reef Entertainment has officially confirmed that Terminator: Resistance Enhanced is a real thing — and Teyon's next big project will be arriving on PlayStation 5 in the near future.

Terminator: Resistance Enhanced will be releasing exclusively for PlayStation 5 on March 26. Thankfully, PS4 players will get a chance to download the next-gen version of the fan-favourite game at no additional cost.

The upcoming next-gen version of Terminator: Resistance Enhanced will introduce a plethora of huge visual improvements — including dynamic shadows, tessellation, and razor-sharp 4K resolution and locked 60FPS — and a never-before-seen game mode. In the fresh Infiltrator Mode, fans will take on the role of "a T-800 series Infiltrator unit" and do whatever it takes to annihilate the human resistance. The Polish video game developer will also put the DualSense controller to good use, with its light bar reflecting the player’s health.

Fortunately for console players who have purchased an Xbox One or PlayStation 4 version of 2019's first-person shooter, the base game will receive a free patch that will allow fans of the original to re-experience the title with "balance & difficulty" tweaks on their consoles. The upgrade will be made available in Q1 2021.

When it comes to new content, the British company has confirmed that the PC port of Terminator Resistance and Terminator Resistance Enhanced will get a paid story DLC. The new expansion will hit stores this summer.
