Bloober Team Puts Spotlight on Supernatural Abilities of THE MEDIUM in Never-Before-Seen Trailer

The Medium is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing horror projects of this year, promising a more twisted (and also next-gen) take on evergreen classics like Silent Hill 2, Alan Wake, and Deadly Premonition.

In the fast-approaching project, you take on the role of Marianne — the titular medium — an iron-willed investigator who tries her hardest to solve a terrible child murder case. To stand a chance against various otherworldly monstrosities standing in her way, Marianne will put her supernatural abilities to good use.

To give you a chance to learn more about the protagonist's useful skills, Bloober has shared a new trailer.

According to the Polish developer, "Marianne has quite attuned senses. Even in our real world, she can see, feel, and sense things that other people wouldn't normally pick up on. These heightened senses help her see how the spirit world quietly influences our own — or guide her intuition. She might feel that an important object is located behind the wall, or that she should look below the floor."

The Medium is almost here — it will be releasing for Xbox Series S/X and PC (via both Steam and the EGS) on January 28, 2021 — so Bloober will definitely release even more trailers for the title in the coming days.

Without further ado, take a closer look at the action-packed The Medium - Premonition trailer down below:
