Square Enix and Forever Entertainment Team-Up to Produce Multiple Remakes Based on a Single Series

Forever Entertainment — the Polish crew behind Panzer Dragoon Remake and the upcoming Panzer Dragoon II Zwei Remake — has officially signed a new deal with Square Enix that will allow the company to create and publish multiple new remakes. All of them will be based on a single series owned by the Japanese juggernaut.

According to the Gdynia-based company, these never-before-seen remakes will feature many major graphical improvements, but the core gameplay experience and story will remain pretty much the same.

Forever will finance the remakes out of its own pocket, and in exchange will keep half of the revenue for itself.

Said franchise's name will be revealed to the public in a separate report, marking the beginning of its promotional campaign. Unfortunately, that's everything we know about the project at the time of this writing.

Since the announcement, Forever's stock has risen more than 17%, its highest increase since January 2021.

Considering that Forever's biggest project to date — last year's Panzer Dragoon Remake — was a rail shooter, there's a chance that the companies are actually working on a re-envisioning of the Front Mission game series.
