Publisher CreativeForge Games and developer G-DEVS have revealed Ronin: Samurai Redemption, an action-adventure game set in feudal Japan that will allow players to channel their inner ronin to hunt down and kill deadly creatures from the underworld. That's right, Ronin is unapologetically inspired be the NiOh series.
According to the Warsaw-based company, Ronin: Samurai Redemption is "a third-person action/combat RPG where the player utilizes the skills of three ronin to fight monsters, solve mysteries and collect mystical Ki to unlock magical powers in the ultimate showdown against darkness."
Although the NiOh-like title hasn't received a concrete release date yet, it will arrive on PC (Steam) "soon."
Interestingly, the team at G-DEVS is currently working on 5 (!) big games: Ronin: Samurai Redemption, Orc Warchief: Strategy City Builder, Scrap Games, Monsters Domain, and finally The Rebels: Prologue. There's no denying that G-DEVS has a lot on its plate, and only time will tell if it's not too much to handle for the crew.
